Leistung Motorsports Exhausts for CTT955 Gen

Can anyone provide descriptions to differentiate the three different exhausts that Leistung provides for 955 Gen CTT?

I would want one that gives me a note that is low and growling. The stock note makes the car sound like a poosy.
So if you can help provide differences between the three, and how each sounds, as well as info on maybe HP/Tq, ease of install (assume same level of difficulty), etc.
The write up provided on their web site seems to be a copy/paste version for all three with no differentiation other than what you see from the pictures and the price.

I will greatly appreciate it.

ciaka,

There is one more exhaust that is offered by Rob at Leistung Motorsports. I don't know why he has not put it on hthe website, but, he needs to do so. It is called the SR1. It sounds awesome!!! It is deep and throaty, but it is quite loud. It is a single "can" instead of the dual "can" setup. I have one on my 957TT and it is offered for the 955. If you pull up videos on youtube or look up Gotham Cayenne blog, you can hear it.

My mechanic did the install, so I really cannot comment on how easy/difficult the install was. I haven't done a dyno pull, so I cannot comment on hp/torque gains. I also had other mods(diverter valves, air intake and primary cat delete) installed when the muffler was installed, so the numbers would be different anyway.

Give Rob a call. He's great to deal with and his products are of very good quality. And no, i don't work for Leistung.

How does one call Rob. Tried a few times today during the day, and chose the tech support option via main number off their site. Nada.
Seems like Rob is hard to get a hold of. Anyone have Rob number that actually gets people to him?

check. Thanks.

Read from some forum that an owner of a Tuareg was testing these and when he put on the single can solution he could feel much more power improvement. Anyone share this experience on the CTT?
Realistically, I do not expect any noticeable gains from exhaust, as you would need to do the entire path properly and match with a tune too, but does anyone use the SR1 can and what was your experience with added power perception?

I am kind of decided to add good sound first, followed by a chip mod that will give me better accel. Maybe later will do the secondary cat del. pipes, but not sure yet. As some said, the more you muck with things, the more muck you will end up with.

BTW, how long is your wait for the exhaust once you order from Leistung? Just wondering.

I am having him build something custom for me (hopefully I'll share later), and it's been 4 months already! But, the parts that were off his website were all to me in less than 1 month. E-mail is the best way to get in touch w/ him:

The more i think about it, the more doubt i have. Was thinkin GB to put exhaust on, then later take time to put in ecu flash and then secondary cat bypass and maybe diverter valves.
Now, i am startin GB to think that it would be better to put on the ecu flash and take time to put other parts on later.
The dilema i have in deciding exists because some say they have different flashes for different mods.
So i keep wondering which would be better, and if it would be bad to put on ecu flash thas assumes i have DV, second cat del, free exhaust, even though i do not, and if it would hurt the car. If i put on the flash i would likely not be able to put on other parts til end of year. That is why i am so undecided. What would you recommend?

mods first. Nothing bolt on will be outside of the ecu's ability to adapt for. a tune will allow you to take advantage of the changes. Tuning first for mods that dont exist could create heat problems that may cost $$$$$$

I'm also in the process of modding my CTTS and I think I'm going to do Eurocharged tune first as they can do a tune for stock vehicles. Also, as you upgrade bolt ons, they can retune free of charge using a Genius OBDII tuning tool. Anyone else try this as an option for tuning and upgrading as you go?

That's some serious power! What immediate mods do you have planned? I may start with Leistung Power kit (Intake/Sec. Cat Bypass) and Eurocharged tune...

So after much deliberation and thought, decided to go it safe - do the parts first, then add tune after it is all there (or at least most).
So this means I pulled the trigger on exhaust from Leistung. The nice thing is I got to talk to the man behind the company and he gave me a lot of really nice tech info on the exhausts.
The best thing is that he agreed to make a set of the SR1 exhaust for my CTT, and modify it to make it more aggressive. This is going to be a long couple of weeks, waiting for a shipment. Damn those post people, where is Scottie when you need him!
