Cayenne Rough Idle and Shakes bad on Acceleration?
Hi
Usually posting on 997 Turbo Forum, but need a little help from the experts here please.
Went to Chicago in friends Cayenne 05 6 Cylinder. Ran great all the way there and driving around town. On the way home on acceleration to get on interstate it started running rough...hard to accelerate, and shaking like crazy, as if you were running over bumps....Thought maybe transmission. Would run better in 5th gear, but when shifted to 6, would start shaking bad...Also getting 10 MPG!! on way back... So hooked to my Durametric when I got home and it read out almost every cylinder misfire ( P0304, P0305, etc.)....I pulled plugs and coils and several of them were wet and smelled of gas...
I have read about the coil pack going bad...Would that cause misfires on all or several cylinders, or what else could it be?? Also code P01060 - Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 no signal (maybe due to coils??)
Thanks in advance for any help
Would this be a bad coil pack?

sounds that way to me man....Misfire will deff cause it to shake becuase its not running on all cylinders. Also your O2 theory is correct this would cause the vehicle to run rich because it sees that its leaning out due to the misfire, this is why your running only 10 MPG. How old are the coil packs? When you do them do yourself a favor and replace the plugs also.

No problem man glad I could help. I would have to agree age would have a bit to do with it also with such low mileage (Not a Bad Thing) but the vehicle prob sat, so many things will break down seals gaskets etc...just the way it is I guess
