hitting the dyno this weekend!
finally hitting the dyno to see what it puts down. Mods are only...
Secondary Cat Delete
Muffler Delete
EVOms v-flow intakes
Evolve tune
Any guesses on what she will make? Also, anything with the Cayenne on the dyno that I need to know about (mode setting, traction control, etc)?
I will post the graph and a video of some pulls for sure!

I am going to wager about 500-520awhp.
Where is the dyno going to get tach info from? My dyno did not have the OBD sensor module, but was able to get a RPM reading from the wires leading to the coil packs on the passenger side of the engine block. I can elaborate more if you need me to..
In terms of settings, I would do low mode and PSM off. Even so, I think PSM kicked on under braking (safety override) when my CTTS was last on the rollers - after the pull. My theory is that the wheel sensors noticed a small difference in decelerating rolling speed between the wheels and thought it was in a spin and it started to use the ABS system to pulse brake different wheels in a vain attempt to "correct" itself. The net result was a bucking sort of effect. The tech doing my dyno was not pleased with it, but pushed on safely.
Afterwards, I looked to pull the PSM fuse but there are about 4-6 different fuses labeled PSM/ABS. So I am not sure which combination I am looking for. You might want to know the locations of the fuses in advance in case you need to pull them.

good and bad news, good news is it sounded awesome. We did some third gear pulls for a/f and when we uploaded the evolve tune, it would not take with my computer and put the car into limp mode. They are working it out and will get back to me but we had to load back the stock tune. The car only made like 360awhp (not sure correction factor they used, DA was 9800 ft) but I wasnt shooting for a number, I wanted to get the tune dialed in and the real number is the track here. Best so far is 14.3@99. Hoping to get into the 13's this year.
I did end up with a nasty vibration under partial load this morning. Feels like driveline or rear end. Any possible suggestions on what to look at first?
Any help is appreciated!

With the right mods, I think you can easily get into the 13's. FWIW, I am thinking about trying to get into the high 11's in my MY08...

Sorry to hear about the issues...hopefully you can get back on track soon. Did you get a base line on the power before doing the tune? Would be cool to see where you are at before and after the tune on the same dyno. Good luck!

yeah its in my post above, 360awhp, not sure what correction factor they used for altitude. The real way to get HP is trap speed and weight. I hope to get to the track here soon as soon as I get my driveshaft bushing fixed. Part should be here tomorrow.

ordered the bushing but my shop told me instead of just replacing that to send off the entire driveshaft to a specialty shop here and they will do all bearings/bushings/balancing and provide a warranty... $375 installed and done. So I went that direction, I will let everyone know how it turns out, I should have it back this afternoon.

Ok, gotcha....I thought the 360 was with tune and it just wasn't running right...just reread your post. I agree that the track is the best way but if you use the same dyno set up the same way (same correction factor, etc) you can get a very good idea of how much the tune is actually adding. The raw numbers themselves are not important just really seeing how it goes up would be awesome and how/if the power curve changes. I am seriously considering a tune on my 955.

Sinister - I could be very wrong, but when I did my intakes my contact at vivid sent me some dyno results from his girls pepper (before and after - same intakes). It showed a nice boost in HP, but the overall HP was LOW LOW LOW. I asked him why and he told me that getting a Cayenne setup correctly on his dyno was a ***** and that he had heard others say the same. That aside, i'm not sure where you call home, but if you are anyway close to NJ, my buddy John and broadway performance has a BA tune that worked great in my C. No issues - all +++++
