Pre-Tune Tips

Hi, I'm in process of scheduling ECU Tune, Intake and Cat Bypass install... expect to do this work in the last week of of August. I wanted ask this highly experienced group for any pre-tune guidance to get the most of out of the mods and also minimize/eliminate return trips to the tuner which is about 90 minutes away from home for me. The truck is a daily driver with equal amounts of city and hwy and I'll be scheduling pre and post dyno runs. Thanks for any thoughts you may have

I would be happy to help out here. However, do you mind clarifying the scope of your question?

Renaissance, thanks for reaching out. I've seen some comments around some tunes that seemed to have ping problems and people looked at changing spark plugs and other comments on cat bypass around smelling fuel in the car particularly at start up. I haven't seen a punch list of tips/traps so I was wondering if these may be one-off experiences or just stuff people live with.

Thanks for any thoughts, I've been watching your upgrades for some time and have been super impressed with what you've done as well as your helpfulness on the boards. Best, R

i've been leaning towards driving down to Fabspeed. Was going to try and get the bypass from Leitsung but given how they can't seem to keep up with their orders thought I'd head to Fabspeed for their bypass and let them do the Evoms.

I also like that they can dyno right in the shop making before and after measurements easy to take.

I'm traveling heavily for the next couple of weeks so the earliest I can do this is end of month.
