So Tarik, have you ordered the spacers yet? And you should plasti dip your turbo badge and put it back on. The black will look nice and de-badging a turbo just seems crazy to us S owners.
Thanks John! This is all your fault anyway. It all started with the exhaust.

I am thinking about buying some wheels, so I have not ordered spacers. I have brand new emblems sitting in my glove box but I like the clean de-badged look. Crazy, I know.

Looks great Tarik, I like the metallic in the material. How many sq.ft. of material do you think the installer used?

Thank you! I am not sure how much they used. Those details were not included in the invoice.

My local shop wanted 6K for a full body wrap on my CTT. I wonder if they would quote that if it wasn't a Porsche.

They said they remove body panels and lights to really get the wrap in and around seams. Still...

I've been pricing around here and shops are quoting pretty consistently $3,000 - $3,100'ish for a full wrap on a 955. Maybe it's a Vegas area thing. Drive it to Denver, spend a day-two, drive home, save a couple of thousand.

I def think that this is a combination of a Vegas and Porsche tax. Sucks that shops operate these ways.

I would do it somewhere else, but I want the work to be warrantied (to the best extend possible on something like that). So that I can hold the shop responsible if something weird was to happen down the line with the wrap or paint. Latter being the least likely of the two.

If it only takes a shop a day or two to do the wrap I'd find a different shop. The really good shops here in SoCal take a full 4 days.

The process is very involved and requires disassembly, but $6k is expensive. Watch:

SoCal has a few very good wrappers than can do your car for $3,000 - $4,000.

Quick update: I've added the badges. The original plan was to paint the stock badges black, but I decided to create a vector emblem in Illustrator and use my wife's vinyl printer/cutter to cut it out. They look much sleeker and fit the vinyl theme.

Sorry Tarik, but I like the raised letters better and still think you should plasti dip your stock ones.

Any update on new wheels and/or spacers?

Oh, and you need one of these...

I bought one from that seller. It touches up the rear look and is silly not to have for $5.49.

I like the raised look as well but wanted to do something different. It was either this or nothing. Besides, the weight savings will make my car faster!

Details, details... I have a plug but removed it for my trailer or bike rack and have no idea where it is at the moment. $5.50 is cheap, so I will pickup a backup. Thanks for the link.

No wheels or spacers yet, but they are on my todo (toget) list. I still think about how awesome yours looks with the flush stance.
