2008 CTT vs 2006 CTTS
Hi all -
I am looking to buy my first new to me Cayenne and I have narrowed it down to either a 2008 CTT (45K miles) or a 2006 CTTS (23K miles). From was I've researched thus far - the 2006 CTTS has 520hp vs the 2008 CTT 500hp. My understanding is that the 2008 is pretty much the same style as the 2006. I really like the 2006 since it's the color I want (White/Beige). The 2008 is Silver/Black which is not a bad color combo either. I'm leaning towards the CTTS for the low miles and color combo. It also has the CPO warranty. Both are priced the same. Any recommendation or suggestion. Thank you.

koolkat1973,
There are quite a few improvements the 957 will have that the 955 will not. Two are direct fuel injection and PDCC. Although the 06 CTTS has more horsepower than the 08 CTT, with both being stock, the 08 is faster. Did the 08 have PDCC(Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control)? These are "active" anti-sway bars. Great for handling while driving through the curves. I was in somewhat of the same situation last year. I ended up getting an 08 CTT. I also have a 05 Boxster S, which I drive LESS than the CTT. As a matter of fact, the majority of my "spending" money has been put into the CTT for mods...mods...and more mods. The Boxster gets serviced and washed only. In your case, the CPO might be a good thing. If you have not done so, have a PPI done on the 08. I believe you will be happy either way. But be strong, or you'll find yourself in the "Land of Mods" gone forever.
