Choosing diverter valves

Deciding between APR R1 and Bosch 710N diverter valves. Why wouldn't a guy go with the Bosch 710N diverter valves prior to a tune since they cost way less? I believe they are a diaphragm like the APR R1.

The Bosch 710N can be had for about $41.00 each.

The reason to spend the extra money for a dv like the R1 is when you tune the car the bosch ones will not hold the increased pressure of the boost as well as the R1's can.

That is where I am confused. I called EPL and they recommended the Bosch 710 for their 955 CTT tune.

I don't think so. They do hold a higher pressure than the stock DV from what I can ascertain.

Then you should be fine. EPL knows their cayennes. As long as its a diaphragm for no maintenance that can hold the increased boost you'll be fine.

That is my thinking, but I will clarify with EPL before I tune.

I would agree only difference is the adjustment you also have to think how many times would you actually adjust it? if they have made power with those then just stick it. I went with APR they werent that expensive and was told they dont have any issues with sticking like the stock
