4 Cylinder Misfire Alarms when looking at durametric cable

Cylinder 1, 4, 5 and 7 and a "Multiple Cylinder misfire" code were shown when I just noticed our light was on and checked with Durametric cable.

I cleared the faults and the light didn't return. I drove 5 miles spirited around town and so far no light yet.

Any ideas what this could be or lead to? 60k miles on the engine...

The codes did say "implausible and that they werent making the light on but I didn't have any other faults.

Sounds like. Pretty normal part replacement. I believe pricing for the parts are in some of the voluminous threads on coil packs herein. Check the sponsor web sites for pricing and add a few hours for your mechanic. Just take it in for your 60,000 major and have them done at the same time.
