No, do not recognize them. Are you sure they are cats? I have seen a few race shops make square mufflers for drag strip cars. They may be using them inline as resonators.
FWIW, it also looks like aluminized steel with mild steel welding wire. A combination that is truly hard to digest as a fabricator. My guess is someone just took it to a local muffler shop and they threw on whatever they had to quiet it down. Which implies other mods were done too. Have you inspected the entire system yet?

Those are spin-techs from DR. Gas in your pic? I used those on my mustang and they sound goooood!! They also make some killer transistions and ovalized tubing.

I'm not sure which is worse. Straight pipes offer you nothing and will rob power. Not to mention the federal, state and local violations when your neighbors complain.
