Guys I am thinking on getting the Beltronics STi-R Plus for my 957, but in doubt how hard is it to install everything. If someone has one fitted please share where did you place the components and how difficult was to route all neccessary cables.

 

While I don't have a 955/957, this is how it is installed on my 958. I had a shop perform the stealth install.

The radar sensor is located at the bottom left in the picture below. The top ones are they Laser Interceptor diffusers.


Laser Interceptors on the back - to the sides of the license plate.


The GPS sensor is the left of the rear view mirror. I have the thermal/noise canceling glass so it's the only place that doesn't interfere with reception. If you don't, probably place it in the dash. The remote display unit is mounted above the rear view mirror.


The remote control unit is in the ash tray compartment.

That is the radar sensor used by the Adaptive Cruise Control.

 

I have heard the adaptive cruise control signals interfere, can you please speak to that?

I have '08 CTT with the same windshield and ACC and was told the hidden Beltronics and LI diffusers would be compromised.

I've also decided it is not a good DIY project, at least for me. Best left to the pros.
