Cayenne newbie question

Disclaimer: I'm a total Cayenne newbie and am almost embarassed to ask this question (I'm a 996TT guy).

Question: One of my friends just bought a Cayenne Turbo that he claims he paid an extra $20k (to the dealer) in exchange for 500hp, big brakes + other stuff (???). What is this model? I didn't see anything on this on the Porsche web site.

I'm sure that this has been written about many times on this forum. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks........Rich

I think they have an option for a factory horsepower upgrade similar to the 996TT X50 kit.

It wasn't the black one at carlsen was it? They put bigger brakes, some aerokit stuff on it and change the software. I believe it's 18K? Something like that....

the option code is E81. cost is 19,900.00 when order the car. the horsepower is up by 50 to total of 500hp. torque is up by another 100Nm. the front brake is upgraded to 8 piston with larger rotors for improving braking performance.
