Airbag fault P1627 and 1321 errors
While I was driving yesterday the airbag light on the cluster lit up and got message about airbag fault.
Pulled codes via Durametric, and got P1627 and 1321 errors. Any way to help decipher these so I can have a better idea about what the problem is and to get me on the way to fix it? Appreciate help.
FYI, California (SF Bay area) roads suck huge *****. Never seen roads suck this much. Especially for a state that rapes you for taxes (a couple times - with a broom). Digressing here.

...anyone have seen these and can comment on them here?
Here is the more detailed info of error descriptions:
ME:
P1627
CAN timeout - airbag - Implausible signal, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and is not causing a DTC light
Instrument Cluster
1321
Airbag triggering unit - No signal/communication, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and is not causing a DTC light
KESSY
1321
Airbag triggering unit
No signal/communication
GATEWAY
1321
Airbag triggering unit
Thanks.

Just checked fuses, and the one for air bag (position 26 - 10A) appears to be fine when I took it out and visually inspected.
Does anyone have ideas for me here? Thank you.

This is how I read these error messages.... Both the DME and the Instrument Cluster are saying that they are not currently causing a check engine light.
The way the computers communicate is that all of them have to go through the gateway. If for some reason one computer stops communicating, the computers that is trying to communicate with it will throw an error.
So the gateway threw an error when it noticed the KESSY went offline for some unexpected expected reason, which kicked off complaints from the cluster and DME as well. The KESSY is the keyless locking and starting system.
Bottom line, is it looks like you have an issue with your KESSY system causing these errors. You might want to check all fuses and for loose cables. If it is anything more than that, then you will most likely have to have an indy or dealer perform diagnostic. These electronic issues can be extremely difficult to chase down due to the interconnectiveness of the system, even for trained techs.

Thanks for your input.
Can you tell me where I would be checking for loose cables? Since KESSY is the keyless door lock/unlock system, it must be a controller that controls the actions of the open/close function and I am sure other things too.
What cabling could be loose? I removed the battery for a bit hoping to reset, but had no effect (recommendation from another place).
Is there a way to reset the KESSY? A way to reset the door locking system?
Trying to get this solved myself as going to a shop with this will surely mean they will be just as stumped, and will be learning on my car, and then will charge me for it.
