sold my 05 CTT after doing all of the typical stuff including coolant pipes, driveshaft, diverter valves, etc. It smoked pretty good on startup like most do, but I LOVED the vehicle as a whole so I am moving to an 08.
I have found a few, looking for one with 75-90k miles to fit my price point of $30-35k because I hardly drive it - but what are common issues in the 957's? I know coolant pipes were not an issue but please fill me in on some quick tips so I know what to look for? Are they known for blowing MAF sensors or anything in particular?
thanks!

No common issues yet since the 957 was essentially a revised 955. However, not everything was corrected. The drive shaft is still an issue and the DFI may exacerbate some oil buildup on the back of the intake valves that you probably wont notice or cause any perceivable symptoms . Other than that, make sure you check out my thread here:

Makes sense now...I feel you pain on not finding anything locally.

If the electronics get wet over a certain period of time then the button wont work. Usually caused by not "slamming" the rear glass.
