Any how to on removing silver trim to paint 04 Cayenne Turbo

I want to black out all of my silver window trim, kick board and maybe even the door handles and top rack. Has anyone on here done this? I just love the all black look on the new Cayenne turbos and ill probably just plasti-dip coat those pieces so i can remove it later if I want. Any write-ups on how to remove those trip pieces? Too much taping to paint with it all attached.

Thanks for any advice!

The silver roof racks come off, there are a few torx screws holding them in.. Takes a firm pull but that pop off and pop right back in. I plasti dipped those. For the kickboards, I just masked around them and plastidip, I don't think they come off easily. Silver trim on the rear window, also just masked it. For the door trim, Im going to vinyl wrap the silver pillars and then mask and plastidip the thin piece along the edge. Already have the vinyl and stuff, just don't have the time to tackle it yet.

Door handles are a whole other ball game. I want to do mine also but I have heard its extremely difficult to remove and reinstall those.... I may just try masking and painting those on the car as well..

My pillars are done. Just replaced those with black ones. I think I may just take the rails off and put on if needed. Bummer. I was hoping the trim snaps out. Feels like it will slide backwards off the outer window, but afraid to pull it off. Thanks for the input
