2008-2010 CTT or TTS reliablility?
Hi All-
In 2008 I bought a 05 CTT and kept it a couple years and racked up 14k in repairs to everything from the AC to a new tranny and other odds and ends which were done under an aftermarket warranty. By the time I traded it for an 08 CTT the car was in great shape for the next owner due to all the prior work. It had around 80k miles.
My 08 purchased in 2010 was an entirely different suv. It had PDCC and many other goodies and was problem free the whole year I kept it and traded it for a 2012 997.2 TTS coupe. Although I loved the TTS I sure missed the CTT.
I'm considering getting back into a 08-2010 this year as a DD once my lease expires on a 14 Lexus LX 470. For any who have owned one I was just wondering about any problems with the motor or tranny and also wondering how many miles I might expect to put on the motor before it dies?
I have read about the prior gen Cayeene's and coolant pipes and cylinder stuff going bad. Did this go over to the second gen Cayeene V8 motor? I see them in the 25-35k range with acceptable miles and since I like the rear of the 2nd gen CTT more than the 3rd not to mention the price I am considering a TTS or TT.
Thanks for your input.
