Ray- is your paint rusting by any chance or was? my friend's 03 turbo's body has a visible rust right under the turn signal indicator. his car is white too and it shows. the dealer isnt doing anything about his car. Is this the paint problem you have too?

Zeo- Actually the paint on my driver's side door and intercooler vent was thin. You could see the white base coat in certain patches under direct light. I am a detailing nut, and I noticed it while working on the car under the storm of flouresent light I have in the garage at my home in Connecticut. I discovered the defect about two days after I picked the car up, and after custom ordering the car months and months prior I was undoubtedly disappointed and generally pissed off. In the end, another identical car was built to replace it with. I could have changed the options/colors, but my original specifications were that of my ideal Turbo....so I stuck with it! Interestingly....as the 'new' Turbo was in the showroom waiting for me to drive back from Boston to pick up, someone came in and loved it.....and agreed to buy 'the first one' after viewing its twin.

PS....The P Zeros made it through that winter flawlessly.

Jamy- PCNA stands for 'Porsche Cars North America.' They have regional representatives that are always driving from dealer to dealer to handle abnormal situations.
I saw your Cayenne getting loaded onto the flat bed yesterday as I was coming home....I asked one of the guys standing around it if it was his, but he said he was your friend and didn't seem to indicate you were around......

Mike:

I think you should just sell the 4.6is and start riding the Vespa everywhere. ! In all serious, get the 996tt. You have craved one for about half a year now? Do not compromise by getting the Cayenne Turbo.
