I live in a aportment building with a garage basement. As every other day I steped into my Cayenne ready to go out. While driving in my basement heading towards the exit, i had to make a deep right turn. However after turning the streering wheel, the steering wheel was locked and i could not steer it back to the straight position. I completly freaked out and was trying to turn the steering wheel with force, however that didnt work at all!!. I was seeing my car in slow motion heading towards the wall and i was helpless and shocked as how could this happen. Still shocked from what happened I slammed the brakes as my last hope. My Cayenne was about 4inches from the wall. I turned off the car, turned it back on and everything was working properly. I tried to convince myself it was a dream!! hehe but my head wasent accepting it.... I still havent told my dealer of the problem because i doubt it will happen again, but i just might give them a call since i dont want this to happen when im driving on the interstate and there is a turn right ahead of me!!!

 

mine can be interesting too.. I went out with my cayenne and I stepped on the brake and it did not stop and i was so close to the car in front of me, luckily it did stop at the end. I was 100% sure that I stepped on the brake, if this thing happens again, I'll inform my dealer.

 

Took it to the dealer today.... said they will check it up

I'm bringing mine tomorrow to check on the brakes, they are making noises

 

My dealer is Herb Chambers the service manager said just bring it tom morning they will check it out. I think i will tell them about the braking problem 2 since I hear weird noises when i brake. I live in the River Court right next to the Galleria mall? How about you? whats ur Cayenne color maybe ive seen it, mine is Carmon Red.

anyway mine is from herb chambers too, justin changed my brake to a new brakepads and he said that the old one had too much steel parts. But the new one is having the same problem -_-

 

Ive seen you a couple of times around.....I just might as well tell him about the brakepads problem since im going tom. Do u hear this weird sound 2 when u turn on the heater? By the way where do u wash ur car? I took my car to the galleria to get it washed and they did miserable job.

 

I wash my car by myself in my garage, if you want to wash yours, you can come down to my place.

I don't think I hear any sound when my heater is on. but my steering wheel used to make some noises, but they fixed it already
