Anyone live in D.C. (Georgetown area)?

I am looking to buy a 2005 CT, and the vehicle is located in D.C.. I was wondering if any board members lived in that area, and wouldn't mind taking a look at it. Could reimburse you for your time. Also, if anyone can run a Vin# check for me please let me know. Is it normal maintence on the CT not to have an oil change until 20k??

Thanks for your help!

John

John-

I'm in Arlington (right across the Potomac from Georgetown), please feel free to email me if needed todd@homefirstmortgage.com. However I don't have an intimate knowledge of CTT's, but if you'd like a thorough look-over, pictures, etc, I would have know problem with that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that's normal for ANY car. If he really went 20K miles without an oil change, I'd expect the engine to crap out soon.

If you dont drive the CTT aggresively the oil wont need to be changed for 20K.....keep in mind these cars use Mobil 1 0W 40 which is a special blend ONLY for 2003+ European cars (and the Corvette C6) .....on my first CTT i didnt need to change the oil for about 17K......but after the boston Porsche meet i had to change the 05's oil at 3K.......It all depends on how you drive it.....So if this guy only had to change it once and it was near 20K you know he wasnt driving the car too hard!!
