Drivability and evap. leak

How much of an impact will the existence of a of a evap. leak (I believe it was code P2404), have on drivability/smoothness of my engine (4.8)? I have an uneven idle and acceleration. I don't believe the evap pump is bad, at least I haven't gotten that code. I'm trying to determine if I have another issue that isn't throwing a code. Third post here, let me know if I'm out of line! First Porsche and I'm WAAYY behind on the learning curve on this one, but looking forward to learning. Thanks for any and all help.

I've been driving with mine for a couple months (with 'large evap leak'). No impact on performance. Getting it checked out this week.

Thanks TCZ, I guess that answers my question. I will look elsewhere to solve my idle/acceleration issues. I have no other codes present in the DME module though. Anyone have any suggestions? I just got the truck and am trying to bring it up to par. I don't know when the last time the plugs were changed, if ever, so I may go that route. I ran a couple cans of SeaFoam through it to no avail. Probably wouldn't hurt to investigate the injectors either. I'll keep searching around here and see what others have done. Thanks for the input.
