Anyone knows what the genuine tensioner pulley should look like? Does it have grooves or not?
I looked at mine after drive belt went, and there are small depressions in it but no grooves as you see in the other idler pulleys (2), which each have grooves since belt is two sided grooved.
I was scanning parts and see most tensioner pulleys that are smooth. See some used tensioner pulleys that have similar depressions in them.
Ordered a genuine one that was flat, but I am tempted to reuse my old tension pulley with depressions, as the flat one may cause damage to belt over time.
Any help is appreciated in finding this detail. Thanks.

 

anwer is genuine one is flat, smooth. The small grooves are from belt wearing the roller over time.
