Thumbs up Does anyone here have smoked taillights?

Smoked tail lights. $369 each? What are they smoking?

Not sure, but I must be hitting the same pipe because I just took the plunge tonight and ordered the set. I think they are bad ***. http://content.performanceproducts.c...3/58PX006J.jpg

Anyone know about any laws (in Illinois) or anywhere for that matter against these taillights? They claim to have normal visibility when engaged.
If I am reading this correctly...there are no restrictions on smoked tailights in IL.

GMG offers it too.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the following link.

The catch on the $175 price is that you'll have to ship them your lights. They can sell you new lights if you want though.

I want to say 295, but it could be 285, deff. not 265...
AWESOME tires... They have a good 11000 miles on them and have A LOT of meat left not to mention great traction on a truck with 603RWTQ

285 or 295? I figured on the Ace wheels, 22 x 9.5 they HAD to be 285's cuz 295's need a 10" wheel...

My tires are 295's and work fine with the 9.5's! And yes the tails are Cargraphic! Been on the truck for around 8000 and no fading or damage or anything!

WTF!?!?! over 700 for smoked taillights?

What in the world do they use man? That is one hell of a rip off... Ive seen local shops around in LA smoke tailights for $50-100.

Do they use the film or the spray?

Niether, the tinting is built into the lens of the light from what I was told, no paint, no film, therefore nothing to scratch or peel. The entire light is aftermarket from cargraphics, hence the price. Next best option is sending them in to these guys http://www.smokinlights.net/ or a similar setup like mentioned by Kev where an actual paint and clear coat is applied.
