I am running 295/30/zr 22

is that too low profile?
should i have gone with 285/35w/r22

22s are nice, but i can definately tell the car is slower.

the 285's are even taller=slower.
How's the ride with 295's? What brand?

Tom,

What kind of tire life do you think we are gonna get out of the 22s.
also i need wheel locks, can the OEM fit on the techart.
I guess it's time for the bypass and the airfilter.

I'm just curious if anyone here has run 265/35-22's?? I wonder if it's any better for smoothness/quiet and ride quality vs. 285or295's??

The overall diameter on 295/30/22 is 29". The overall diameter on a 285/35/22 is 29.8". Therefore, the 285 tire is actually .8 taller. This means the 285 sidewall will be .4 thicker. Remember the first number in the tire size refers to the width. The second number refers to the side wall and is a percentage of the width and the last number ofcourse is the rim size. Personally I think the 295 with a slight drop looks perfect.
