Thanks Alex911s,
The ride is way better than the factory setup on the steel suspensions. At first, I was expecting a stiff ride from the low profile tyre used, but the KW's independently adjustable compression and rebound damping enables the technician to firm up the damping a bit, but also ensure a smooth ride. The rear axial is no longer bouncing when driving through ramps, and it does not handle like a suv anymore!!
The Neez wheel (20") + Yokohama Advan S.T. is amazingly light, and it even weights a tad lighter than the stock 17" set.
The combination did a great job to me, and is highly recommended to anyone interested in lowering their papers.

Yes, you do!! Actually, I did not really lower the car. The KW V3 has shorter travel, hence the physical length is shorter than the stock shock before any drop. Could go lower, but handling is the priority. The setup suits the neighbourhood here.

Cedric - the optional full size spare tire is pretty rare (at least in the USA). Could you post additional pictures of this option? Side profile, rear and with the rear door/hatch up would be greatly appreciate.

I have actually never seen one on any Cayenne in the US.
I am currently in Montreal for the F1, once i get back to Africa i certainly will.
Just to give you an idea, it is pretty much the same as this one above ^^ , our 08' just has the wheel cover on it. and it opens to the left.

If one was truly going off-road or driving through an undeveloped area, a collapsible spare tire ain't going to cut it. Sure, it's not very pretty but it is functional. Even when I'm driving through the Central Valley of California (Bakersfield, Lost Hills etc.), I'm always concerned about getting a flat tire away from home. Not too many tire shops in California have a 22" tire sitting around. If I'm going into the backroads, I'd want to have a full size spare tire. It ain't pretty, but it is functional.

I picked this Cayenne up a year and a half ago, and the spare tire carrier is pretty rare. There are 2 peppers in WA according to the dealer.
Cannoli: I don't have pics of it open, but it's pretty much an electronic release via a handle on the right. It swings to the left, and won't let you open the hatch until it's fully open. It's synched with the door locks too. There's also a graphic on the dash display if it's not fully locked when going into drive. The option requires programming since the parking sensors have to be re-calibrated. It's a pretty complex option in my opinion.
And it kinda grows on you...
