Post pics of your cayenne's

And I thought it was a simple carrier structure cantilevered from the left side. I didn't realize how much the Porsche engineers integrated the tire carrier into the rest of the control (CAN bus) system. Wow!
I've never seen a RED Cayenne turbo ... I like how you have it set up - red wheel centers, black and silver accents ... nicely done!

Thanks.
Actually, it's been re-painted by the 1st owner. Original color was Zanzabar (silver?). Don't know the details on who owned it first, but he/she really wanted a red CTT with plenty of options except TPMS. A bunch of Tequipment's been thrown on also. I personally didn't do anything except maintenance and tires. If anyone knows I'm curious... it originated in Atlanta.
And in regards of Porsche Engineering, the tire carrier itself is a large chunk of cast aluminum that's been well built and HEAVY, but the COG of the pepper still feels like dead-on centered between the wheels.

Zanzibar is an orangey red and I don't think the Cayenne came in that color.

I've been a lurker on this site, but there are some sick peppers out there!
I picked this Cayenne up a year and a half ago, and the spare tire carrier is pretty rare. There are 2 peppers in WA according to the dealer.
Cannoli: I don't have pics of it open, but it's pretty much an electronic release via a handle on the right. It swings to the left, and won't let you open the hatch until it's fully open. It's synched with the door locks too. There's also a graphic on the dash display if it's not fully locked when going into drive. The option requires programming since the parking sensors have to be re-calibrated. It's a pretty complex option in my opinion.
And it kinda grows on you...
