20" OZ Canyons wheels ...

Here's an update ... the 22" RUF wheels are in the shop and currently I'm running with 20" OZ Canyons with Pirelli Scorpion Assymetricos All-Season tires.

I really like the 20" package better than the 22" setup ... at least for now. The 20" setup rides substantially better than the 22"s.

Here's mine.

Spec is:

Ruf 550 engine kit
Ruf Exhaust
Ruf Brake Conversion
Ruf Lowering Kit
Ruf Wheels
Ruf Dash Inlays

Am considering getting smaller wheels to make the secondary ride a bit more relaxed.

how's the ride on the 22s? I'm trying to decide between 20s and 22s. I live in Chicago and I've been told not to go 22s b/c they won't last a day on the roads here .. but I love the look of the 22s ... decisions decisions decisions

The best of both worlds would be a 22" wheel/tire that performed like a 20" wheel/tire combo.

The RUF 22" aren't particularly strong for "rough" drives, but they do have that look. Also, they are 46 pounds dry (22" wheel only - no tire).

I'm either going to repair my two+ wheels (RUF 22" cast one-piece) and use them for show-and-shine events, or invest in a 3-piece 22" as a daily driver and use my 20" OZ Canyons for the "rough" road events. The 20" combo rides fantastic!

My 22" Techno Replicas are heavy as *&#%^... they fell even heavier and the ride is def. rough, in comparision to 18" stocks, the H&R springs dont help the cause, BUT IT LOOKS GREAT!
