22's and vibration at speed
#16
I thought that was a common problem for Cayenne.
I have 18'(flower wheel ) now and had same issue.
Between 60-70mph, my steering vibrated little.
Took that down to tire shop and re-balanced...problem fixed.
I would change tires to Michelins or Nitto or Advan...specially with Gemballa.
Or drive below 60 or go beyond 70 to eliminate problems.
Or have you checked your wheel? no damage internally? hope you checked when you bought it.

KDubb---Its the Perelli's.....I had the same problem with my 22's....changed the tires to NITTO NT55 's and the shaking is gone and the car handles far better than with the Perelli's ....

Its The Tires
i am 150% sure thats its the tires. i got the new BMW 750li and it was wobbling like crazy at around those speeds and i took it to the dealer and did the alignment, balacing..the works. a couple of times actually. It had pirellis on them and i told them that i had asked to michellins. The pirelli people also came down and took the tires for inspection and told me that one of the tires had a flat spot and changed them for me.
but the problem persisted and then when i asked for michelins to be fitted....it was like there was no problem at all. even the service manager told me that pirellis are not good tires. change your tires i think everything will be ok then

You have that much metal and that less rubber, expect vibrations. My client has an S550 on 22s, and it wobbles. but not that much that its a hastle to deal with

Hunter Machine
Just cause they use that machine doesn't necessarily mean they did it properly. I would have them re ROAD FORCE balnce the wheels where they actually have to turn the tire on the wheel an this should fix ur issue. try it out!

Will probably clear it up. Although if you search the board there are threads about 2003-2004 Cayenne with chronic steering shake with all size tires.
