Another Newbie Question- ECU Remapping

I have read through all the ECU remapping threads and still have some questions. First, how much of an impact does it have on 0-60 speed. Second, is there serious risk of damaging the car or voiding warranty? Third, does anyone know someone in North Florida that does it? Lastly, how much does it generally cost?

Sorry for the rookie questions, but I am new to this and I have a lot of mods to make apparently...

Yes it could potentially void your warranty

Thx for your responses. Hey, Italia, I'll trek it up to GA. What kind of price? Also, did it cause any problems? How about 0-60 performance, much better?

Man, I hate being the freakin rookie...

Over here(Kuwait) Costs 2,100dollars yeah its pricey. I cant believe what my Cayenne S is killing with Ecu upgrade, BCM filters and Fabspeed Exhaust.

My Kills are: 2003 SL500 from 0-150kmh
Cayman S 0-140-150kmh and RRSport S/C with few goodies.

Yesterday while I was coming home from my cousins Ranch I closed 257kmh at the Digital Speedo unfortunatley there was upcoming traffic and I couldnt go faster, I think my CS can hit 270kmh, because when it was at 257 it was going strong.

I say do it you will love the feel of a lighter , faster Cayenne S.

What year are you pushin'? I have an 06' CS and my only hesitation is having something go wrong and it not be covered under warranty. That's my freakin luck!

06 Cayenne S , august 05 build Black/Sand Beige Sport Desings.

Warranty still here, The dealership installed the Exhaust, Bypass pipes and the Ecu was done at another place, they dont know about the Ecu.

I fixed the Panaromic roof with the Warranty and also they fixed the Voice control feature.

By the way I dont think you will gain 20hp alone with the ECU upgrade, Its close to 10-15hp with BMC filters.
