I have a TT and never considered the VW. I had a BMW X5 4.6 and wanted the best.

I bought the VW because I could care less what emblems are on the damn thing. I have driven both extensively and have no regrets choosing the VW. Its sweet in every way, and I got far more options for far less money. All that stuff about the pepper being a different "experience" blah blah blah is BS... these people clearly haven't spent extensive time in both with an open mind...

If your buying a TT then there is no reason to consider a treg... But if your buying anything less then a TT there is... I went with the V8 treg and love it with no regrets... I think Stephen (PorschePHD) will have similar things to say about his treg.

For you non Touareg owners... Treg is the common name for them on the VW boards...

The Touareg and Cayenne are based on the same Platform, without VW there were no Cayenne.

For sure the Cayenne looks better but that´s all.Imo the Cayenne is a shame for Porsche, but i know you US guys love SUV´s

I went with the Treg V8- as stated before , the P-emblem was not worth $20k over the Treg. Very happy with it. TC
