Arrow Tires for 22" Wheels - 295/30/22 or 285/35/22

The title pretty much says it all, but I have seen a bunch of different people using different size tires on 22x10 wheels. I, personally, would like to do the 295/30/22 for the larger tire and the fact that I live in Florida and the roads are pretty smooth. Will the 285/35 be a noticably smoother ride?

Also, BF-Goodridge, Toyo or Yokohama? I am guessing no on the Nittos?

Thanks,

Jason

I have the toyo's and love them. The 295 should work perfect...

I have Pirelli 295/30's but was told that the 35 would run softer. Mine is fairly smooth but pothles are killer!
I wasn't sure which if either gave the more accurate speedo reading?

looove the power of photoshop:

some victor equipment 22" turismo's are on order.. just have to figure out the tires. Seems like 295/30's should be just fine.

285/35-22 fit the shape of the wheel well better... and provide a more compliant ride with nearly 1/2" more sidewall. Oh and have a correct load rating too. Check out the Yokohama Parada SPec-X... 285/35 will run the speedo a little low. 60mph displayed = 61.7 mph.

Now just needs to be lowered.

any input on whether I should get the wheels/tires mounted at purchase or wait until they get here so I can have the TPMS sensors installed? are the factory sensors going to be thrown off anyway with the 295/30 tires?

I have TPMS sensors installed on my 295/30 wheels/tires. They read -2psi compared to an hand reading using a tire pressure guage.

I purchased my wheels and tires mounted, and then had TPMS sensors (purchased from Tirerack -- better price than from a dealership) installed at my local Porsche dealership.

Thanks for the tip on Tirerack, if I feel a void in my life for TPMS I now know where to go!
