I'm trying desperately to sell this truck and I continue to get lowballed no matter who I deal with. CarMax offered me $37,000 for my '04 Cayenne Turbo! Other Mom and pop dealerships offer 40K at best... Man, buying this thing was a major mistake!

Yes! Been on Ebay 3 times, the local paper too... Was asking $57,000... Ebay auction started off at 35K and never got one hit... Screw this!

 

Well its hard to sell a way over priced piece of crap to people. The type of buyer that you need to find would have to be really stupid, lots of stupid people out there but not many who have lots of money.

 

I think that comment was a bit uncalled for.

Anyway, Kelly Blue Book has trade-in value at $39775. Now, you did not list the mileage or the options, so I estimated 40K miles, and took the defaults for options. It sad, but it seems like the dealerships are giving you what you should expect to get.

 

I have my opinion. Which is based from owning and going through many issues.
The Cayenne is really for people who want to tell the world they have lots of money to waste. The resale is terrible because realistic people won't over spend on it.

 

So when you bought your Cayenne you were a really stupid person, who was trying to tell the world you have lots of money to waste? Or your rule only applies to every Cayenne owner except you?

Youre not trying hard enough.. if your car is in good condition, you wont have a hard time selling..
