Should I buy the cayenne TT?

Its at 4th and Santa Rita,
I am putting it up for sale in April with the plan of selling it by the summer.
I have had the same tenent for 10 years and he is incredible! Pays the rent 10 days in advance and fixes everything. It is just that I can make more money investing in Houston nowadays.

Just a note...I'm getting 55 for a trade in on mine as of yesterday..
Same milage..26k...carbon package, sport tips, heated seats f/r, 22in OZ canyons..
I'm still trying to decide what to do..I'm in the same situation with the new addition to the family so I need to lighten up on the cars. Either way it sounds like an excellent deal...I'd jump on it..

We had a minivan once- never again! In fact, my Cayenne replaced my minivan and I have 3 kids- 2 still in boosters.
Just because you are having a baby doesn't mean you need a minivan- all the stuff will fit in the back of your Cayenne, and you can still enjoy driving.
In fact, think about just how fast you can get your wife to the hospital in a Porsche compared to any minivan!

I really should buy a minivan, but I have a chance to purchase a Cayenne Turbo at a good price. I am far from a wealthy guy (although financially solid) and know virtually nothing about these cars, only that I love my GT2 and would probably love the Cayenne Turbo.
There is a 2004 for sale w/ the following options:
2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo
27,xxx miles
4.5L Twin Turbo V8
All Wheel Drive
6 speed Automatic Tiptronic
FULL remaining Factory Warranty
CLEAN CARFAX
20” Techno Sport wheels
Porsche Navigation
Comfort Package
Convenience Package
Active Air suspension
Porsche Parktronic
Rear Spoiler
Front and rear heated Seats
Leveling Package
350 Watt 14 Speaker Bose Stereo system
6 Disc Changer
Moonroof
Suede headliner
Full Leather Interior
Trailer Hitch
20K mile service has been done along with new front rotors and pads at 22K miles
I have negotiated a price of 53K which to my understanding is very fair. However, I really need to get a bargain to justify the purchase. If I drive 20K in 3-4 years, what will be the resale value?
Thank you for your advice.

53K is a good price, but check warranty and service records..btw is this a dealer car?asked if it;s certified or if they can cpo'd it..
Make sure all TSB's are done, since it's an 04 there's a lot of little bugs
Major things to check:
Transmission control unit, wheel vibration, ignition coils, fuel pump, check for leaks in the tranny area..
little things: rear hatch, rear wiper switch, comfort package make sure everything adjust to memory settings mirrors, steering column,etc..
remote distance..and my wife's favorite heated steering wheel
I just summarized some that I remember, i had the fuel pump issue on mine..
but everything else works great.. good luck that's cheap

Buy it. We had our first baby on 2/7 and that's exactly why we bought a 2005 CTT a few months ago! Only problem is that his head (rear facing car seat) wants to fall forward when the turbo's kick in! JK, we have been keeping the boost OFF so far while he's riding in it.

Update: I am getting red flags from the owner of the car (he is not returning my calls).
A dealership here in Houston has agreed to sell me a nearly identical Cayenne (has 30K miles, though) for 55K. I like the idea of buying from a dealer. Is it worth the extra 2 K in terms of money and mileage?
I am going to look at the dealerships car by 4. That gives the owner of the other Cayenne 6 hours to return my call.

Is that (alcantara) the suede headliner?
Is the suede headliner a sign that the car is a late 2004 model?
Are there more problems w/ early 2004 models/
Thanks

Didn't get it, BPep.
I am going to the dealership soon. I read Rennlist....am now concerned about getting an early 2004.
I will go as high as 54 w/ the dealer and see if he will CPO. How much should I pay for CPO?
Original guy still hasn't called. Must have changed his mind.

Guy called me....was having some family issues.
The car is a late 2004. He has had some minor issues w/ Nav/DVD and one or two small cosmetic problems. Has complete records and Carfax. He will be bringing the car to me next week and if PPI/inspection goes well I will buy..
