What to get: '05 CTT or '07 TReg V8?

I was close to pulling the trigger on a new Touareg V8 (fully loaded) when I heard about an '05 Cayenne Turbo with around 10k miles on the odo for sale at roughly the same price. I didn't get a chance to inspect the condition of the car inside and out, but I'm going back to the dealer today to do just that.

So what to do you guys think? I plan on keeping whichever car for at least 2-3 years/30-40,000 miles as I will be driving it most days, so reliability and running costs will play a role in this.

What is, exactly the price? I bought my 2004.5 just days ago and looked at several 05's (and 06's), so I have a pretty good idea of whats out there.

The TT is a nicer/faster car w/ better resale value (someone else took the big hit for you).

i'd look into a v10 tdi t-reg. they are still trying to move the last few 06's in the upper $40's and the 07's in the mid-high $50k range. 310hp/553ft/lb tq all that and 17/22mpg!

Definitely the CTT...you won't regret the extra acceleration and PASM handling!

Probably the worst CTT I've seen

Finally got a chance to check out the car in question (white/brown 05 CTT). The exterior was ok, couple of paint chips just under the front badge. But the inside... where do I start... faded MF controls on steering wheel, HARD driver's seat (and I mean you BOUNCE off), the all leather dashboard looked like it came from a car built in 1998 not 2005 (faded, shine spots, scuffs, scratches), the door trim looked and felt so nasty I didn't even want to touch em, oh and the mileage on the car was more like 17k.

I left there thinking this must be the first CTT to undergo some wierd "can you live in your car for a year" TV show. Yes, it was THAT BAD! FYI, this was not a Porsche dealer just so you guys know..

if it seems to good to be true.... so, unless the VW rep pulls out all the stops (no, they don't sell V10s here), I'll just keep searching..
