I was pissed and even took it to the dealer. I have driven BMWs with heated steering wheel where you can actually tell, but this was absolutely worthless IMHO.

I can definitely tell- my wife loves it. When we had those super cold days this winter it was really a joy. It will also be a selling point to get her to take the Cayenne so I can get my 993 at the end of the year; and then there is the fact that the seats heat up much faster than the Audi . . .

Maybe not spending the extra $ on an S, but if I can swing it, or a good deal comes along when I start looking, yeah baby!

Thanks BD997. I'm sitting here crying now thanks to you. The picture of your C4S is awesome. I'm crying because I had the exact same color combination on a '97 C4S with factory aero kit (Turbo S Wing). Artic Silver with gray interior, aluminum face gauges, carbon fiber and aluminum e-brake and shifter. I sold he car to buy a Ferrari 360 Modena. I miss the C4S more than the Ferrari. I've been looking to replace it but there are not many out there equiped the way I had it. Also the going price is more then I sold it for in '99.

Really funny. I got the first one in Cleveland. Actually got it from Cauley Ferrari in Michigan. They were a brand new dealer at the time and Ferrari sent them one of the first cars to help get them going. It was actually a '99. I stopped in there on the way to the Detroit auto show and lucked out. Right place at the right time and got the car. It was yellow with black leather. Still miss the silver and gray 993 C4S though.

OK, now this is getting borderline creepy. The picture of your C4S and the picture of your Modena could be mine. Exactly, except for the house in the background of course. Small world. Your right about the Modena, too. It was the only car around at that time that looked like that. I had the Tubi exhaust on it, so nothing around sounded like it either. Ah, two sweet rides.
