I put the Fabspeed by-pass pipes on my CTTS. Yesterday we had great weather and I ran around with the windows down. Sounds really nice, deeper and a little loader. People definitley can hear it and it turns some heads when you put your foot in it. It still sounds sophisticated but has an edge to it. I'm still debating if I want to go with mufflers, too. It wouldn't hurt to be just a little louder, but I don't want it to sound too "boy racer".

I don't think it sounds raspy at all. It has a deeper, throatier sound. When you stand on the long skinny pedal your hear turbos and exhaust. Makes a nice combination. Still not sure if would go loader or not on this vehicle. I had Tubi exhaust on my Ferrari 360 and that was crazy. Holy crap when I had it on the track guys said they thought an Indy car was out there running. I loved it, load as heck and one of a kind sound. But not a daily driver like the Cayenne.

Imo it is super raspy but it sounds good. I have heard cars that have bypass pipes and exhaust and they seem to sound less raspy

I've heard guys say the "S" sounds raspy with the pipes. I've never heard one except in videos. I wouldn't describe my "Turbo S" as sounding raspy. I just checked with my friend that installed them. His company manufacturers high end stainless steel exhausts for boats and cars. He didn't think it sounded raspy either. However, as he puts it a little loader would be cool.
