"light" as in occasional?
smokers as in Rasta?

You might have to send your tail lights out to a source.
You can also always get a Cargraphic set (lens is dark not painted) like I did but they are pretty expensive ($700 pair) and it would be more cost effective to have yours smoked with same effect.

 

Go to a good body shop or window tinter. They will know where to direct you. I got my tails and clear side markers smoked for $250.
