Tire Poll -Help me decide-

Ok I decided to order 22" Rinspeeds (thanks to all your inputs) now I need a tire... one that looks and performs. Which one of these would you go with...?

Bernard,

Will you be running these boots in the winter? We northerners have to consider these things. If so, the Pirelli. If not, the Continental.

The Toyos are not bad. Quiet and much less on the walet then the others. I tend to not like Conti jsut because of some wear issues in the past. Pirrelli tend to have stiffer sdiewalls with more reenforced steel then any other tyre so they can hold up better in a sidewall issue. Hope this helps.

I had the toyo's on my X5 4.6is and I wasn't too happy with them. When I get my 22's I am either going with the Michelin Diamaris 295/30/22 or my favorite tire the BFG KDW2 in 285/35/22. The BFG's run wide so I might just go with them. Good luck with your decision!! When are the wheels coming? They are going to look sweet!!!!!

I have BFG g-Force KDW2 on my turbo 18" wheels and have noticed that they are slightly louder than the Bridgestone Turanza's. They sure look good though.

Just thought I'd drop that information.

Toyo Proxes S/T

I have 20" OEM Sport Technos on my CTT. The truck came with N0 Continentals which lasted 15k miles, but were quiet, grippy, and comfy.

Decided on Toyo Proxes S/T, which are not N-rated, but have a load rating of 106 and are W-rated. These were recommended by others from another board. 2 weeks in so far and I am very pleased with the Toyos. They're even quieter than the Continentals and have a treadwear rating of 420 so they should last longer too.

A little too early for a verdict, but I think these tires are great, especially when you consider 4 tires, mounted and balanced with road hazard warranty and tax for $806!
