I don't know if this helps or not, but i paid $2800 for a 6yr/75k easy care warranty ($200 deduct) for my 2003 996 turbo with 15k miles on it. I can't imagine that a cayanne warranty would cost more than one for a 996tt.

That's too much call my guy Kevin Smith 5107733076, thru Mercury Insurance..

this was my quote from my precious 2001 996TT

Mercury Gold

48 months/60,000 miles $1985

48/75,000 $2430

48/85,000 $2685

48/100,000 $3100

60/75,000 $2540

60/100,000 $3295

Buyer's Choice

36 months/75,000 miles $1005

48/75,000 $1050

48/100,000 $1175

60/75,000 $1095

60/100,000 $1220

""""""""""""""""""""""""

I like this question

"""So the question becomes how long do you plan to own the car and how many miles do you intend to drive it?"""

I was planning to go through Mercury, but hade not gotten a response from my agent. Those quotes look pretty reasonable.

Hows Mercury? i saw lots people give good feedback for EasyCare, not sure about the Mercury, I will give it a try..
If I purchase either EasyCare or Mercury from a delaer (eg. Town Motors), Will I be able to do the service at other Porsche dealers (non-extended warranty carriers)?
Should I call other Easycare dealers to get the price? the extended warranty price is depended on dealers or?

Thanks!

I deal with a BUNCH of Extendeds through work, and EasyCare and Mercury are both great. One to stay FAR AWAY from is Ultimate.

That seems pretty high for the easy care warranty. Prices for easy care vary from dealership to dealership so you may want to call around.
