Help with CTT!!

Hi Guys,

Just started her up to drive back from work, I noticed that the idle was very lumpy...

As I revved up, felt like it was misfiring.. Drove back home the engine did not drive as smooth as before, also lots of shaking, however no engine warning lights appeared.

Anyone know what is up with it??

Ahhhh, maybe plugs, points or condenser. OOOPS!!, that was yesteryear.

You need a diagnostic computer my friend. You can find one at a dealer near you.

Going to be picked by truck and delivered to the Porsche dealership tomorrow morning....As the engine sounds sick.

So far my experience of the CTT is not great. As I had the PCM unit replaced last week...now this.. Have owned her for 1 month..

I am wondering whether the massive turbo lag I was experiencing, could be down to this issue.. Lets hope the extended warranty will take care of these further issues...

I had my PCM replaced too by Porsche , there are 3 months left before it expires.

Mine was replaced due to Distortion and bad noise when loading a cd in the single cd slot in the PCM.

From the looks of it, I think you need new spark plugs.

If it's just an engine light, don't worry. Hopefully it's a small issue.

If it was anything MAJOR, you would know because it would tell you something is wrong and you wouldn't be able to drive the car.

Good to know that it is better, now for an ECU upgrade, 2x drop in filters ,dv's and bypasspipes or alternativley Airintake kit from evoms.

I experience the same issue of a coil pack going bad on my 04' CS. They replaced all 8 for me. I also purchase it as a certified porsche with 100k warranty. I'm hoping that everything that can go wrong happens before 100k.
