Air bag fault warning light....????

Mine just went off yesterday on my '04 CTT 40,600 miles...when I started her up yesterday morning. My manual is missing pages 35-66...the warning light description is on page 53. Anyone know what the possible cause is ? ie: fuse, need to reset the computer ect. TIA.

Thanks...my truck just went out of warranty 600 miles ago....I had better not have to pay for air bag replacements out of my own pocket...fixing a loose connection no problem...

Murphy's Law...... I would still try and get the dealer to fix it under warranty.

Just so you know the the first air bag fault light came when I adjusted the seat while we were driving down the freeway. That was the loose wire under the drivers seat. 4 weeks later the second one came on when my wife starter the it up in the morning. We are still under warranty because I would hate to think how much it would cost to replace the air bags.

Good Luck......

What track is that in you avatar? Walkins Glen?

Thanks for your help...I fogot my warranty goes to 50,000 miles. I already got an appt next week to get it taken care of at the dealer.

I have been to Watkin's Glen in that car...the picture in my avatar is from Limerock Raceway Park last year.

I'm a Lime Rock lover too as I consider it my local track...only a 1 1/2 hour drive. Watkin's on the other hand is 4.5 hrs....makes me nervous driving the car that far w/o use of a trailer. I'll be back at Lime Rock for two days in early November.
