V12 is infamous around these parts
New member with CTT question

I am new at 6 speed. Hey everyone. Nice to meet everyone here. I am in the process of selling my S/C G35. if anyone of you guys want it let me know.

The question is I am looking to get a CTT. I don't have the money for the new 2008 CTT, but i talked to couple people they said the only difference is the new PDCC, everything else i almost the same. so i think i am going to get a older one like a 05 or 06 CTT and mod the engie. Have anyone ever done Gemballa 600 kit or anything silmiar to it? what are the prices i would be looking at. If is there any shop specialize at those things around Atl area. Any help would be great. Thank you guys. and again glad to be a member here.

Welcome!

Not really sure what your asking? Are you asking if we like the CTT? HECK YEA! hahaha...do it man. I just bought an 06 CS and i love it...and the CTT is better yet.

Once you get it, enjoy it for what it is, then start your modding. Im not sure about the Gemballa kit but many guys on here have juiced up their CTTs with mods to make great power. Search and youll find some good stuff.

Nice G35 btw...one of my fav cars of all time!

Sorry for the confusion. I was just wondering if anyone have done a CTT with turbo kit from one of the aftermarket company. How much did it cost. Thanks.

Thank you for the complement. It's a money pit.

You could start with a chip/intake/exhaust and if that is not enough, Evo has a GT650/700 kit for like $18k that you could move up to.

I thought the the GT650/700 kit come with the chip/intake/exhaust. I thought it's only local install only, does that mean they have to have my car? Thanks for all the help.

The kit does come with those things. I was just saying to start out with the C/I/E first and if it is not enough upgrade to the full kit. I don't know about the install......

I have a 2004 RUF converted CTT ... Dakara 550. The conversion is new turbos, intercoolers, air filters, and a re-mapped ECU. All work is performed by Dieter (flown in from Germany). This conversion is rated at 550 HP and 648 ft-lbs of torque. Also, I have the RUF sport exhaust and 22" RUF wheels. This Pig flys!

If you are interested in current pricing, go to:

www.rufautocentre.com

Best of luck.

Well, if my memory serves me right, the Republic of Texas (RUF Auto Centre is in Dallas) was asked to join the United States. I think Texas is now part of the USA. RUF Auto Centre is the U.S. representative for RUF Germany.

V12,
I have a 2005 CTT with the same 550hp upgrade currently. The car is a beast. I have been mulling selling this car for a bit now and if you are interested in buying a car with all the work done let me know. It is black/black and has just about 18k on the odometer. It has also been problem free for all 18k miles.
