I would get an 08 turbo myself, but from what I've read (OP) you look like your more suited to an 11 S. Most have mentioned all the obvious reasons, but all in all, exterior of the new C is weak unless its a turbo (and even then the rear is ugly), interior on the new C is super hot but not enough that I would forfeit the power and aggressive exterior of the 08 Turbo.

I might be flipping sides shortly. With the cancellation of my 11 CS build and the recent loss of my DD I think I may have to pull the trigger on a 09 Turbo S. Figured the Mrs. could drive the CTTs for about 9 months or so and hopefully we could find a well optioned 11 CS after that.

Bad idea?

The 11 CS optioned they way I wanted would of ran right around $79K
The 09 CTTs with a $155K MSRP for low $80's...

Decisions...Decisions!

I really really really pity you. Life must be hard with such decisions! ;-)

The electronics after 08 are great.

Porsche really worked out the bigs and did lots of little things to later Cayennes that really make them great.

For sheer gins and comfort, I doubt the 08 TurboS can be beat. Besides only 600 of them came to the states. Yours will be far more exclusive than mine but you're still paying twice what I put into mine.

Yesterday AM I saw an '11 CS stopped in traffic up ahead of me and the rear end had a tight and tall look. It actually looked good! However, that marque badging has got to go. I wonder if Porsche allows the option of not only no badge but no marque as well?

The only time I want people to notice me is never. When I open it up and leap away from them, let them look but not see or read what it is I am driving. The nicest thing about these SUV's is blending in with the soccer mom's so the police never even look at us.

copasetic222 is infamous around these parts
I have an '09 Turbo S that I ordered in the summer of '08 and have put 32,000 miles on. It's been great. A rattle in the pano roof and a software fix in the Porsche entry and drive are all it has needed.
It's a steal in the $80's; that's my issue with Porsche. Options cost a fortune and are worth nothing when you trade a couple years later like I usually do.
