Proving to be an early success, Porsche has announced it has tallied 16,000 orders for its all-new Cayenne SUV.
The Cayenne reached the 16,000 unit mark in just four weeks.
The Cayenne officially hit the market on May 29th, with strong demand pushing the new SUV past the 16,000 unit
market in just four weeks. The new Cayenne follows in the previous model’s footstep, which was the best selling
Porsche model of all time.
Thanks to its recent appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Porsche’s UK division has received over 1,000
orders for the new Cayenne. Given Porsche’s Cayenne supply is already limited, most UK buyers will have to wait
about four months to take delivery of the new ute.
The new Cayenne S Hybrid model is proving popular among global buyers, with the gas-electric version of the SUV
accounting for about 15 percent of total Cayenne sales. Although the Cayenne S Hybrid is the most fuel efficient
model available to U.S. customers, European buyers have access to the even more economical Cayenne diesel model.
