Smile Just got my 2011 Cayenne S.

I thought I would post my experience with my Cayenne thus far for anyone considering one. I was very concerned with my decision this time around. I have bought so many cars on the spot...great cars..but this time I took my time with my decision. I wanted the most car-like SUV as far as driving dynamics and fun. I have owned or driven all of the greats. G55, ML63, RR all versions, X5 all versions, etc. All of them are great. But I am astounded by the new Cayenne. It is truly a great SUV. I was concerned when I first saw it, but when optioned right it is a stunner. Mine has the black exterior package which I really enjoy and it currently has the 18" winter wheels as I will purchase aftermarkets for the rest of the time. It drives like a car, it turns like a car and it has all of the comforts of an SUV plus the refinement of a mercedes S class. It is sporty and I love to drive it. If anyone has any questions regarding the car please feel free to ask me. Like I said I have driven everything and love to discuss these vehicles.

Pics to come soon.
I already waxed it the second day
Trying to add photos, thought I was technologically inclined...but I guess not.
I will post on a new thread.

PLEASE SEE CAYENNES s Pics as promised...Sorry guys.

Options were:
Jet black
Standard interior black
18" wheels all seasons
Exterior package in black
Alantara headliner
Electric rear sunshades
4 zone climate
Heated seats front and rear
PASM air suspension
PDLS lighting
Tow package
Walnut interior
Walnut heated steering wheel
PCM with back up camera and sensors
That's off the top of my head without getting my build sheet
I wanted PDCC and PTV but my friend/ salesperson said I wouldn't notice unless I was on the track. Saved like 5k on that. Was going to get the turbo but it's considerably more and excellence magazine stated that the s was a better balanced car. I still think the turbo is awesome... But this car is plenty fast enough to get into trouble!...but nothing is ever fast enough.. as we all know. Saved some dough to put toward wheels or my garage. But for anyone wondering the 21" cayenne wheels are gorgeous! I put them up against aftermarket all day.

Test drove one today..... It is faster and more responsive than my gts. The interior is just awesome! The new steering wheel with pad shifters was actually fun. I have not decide to pull the trigger worry if I will miss my GTS! I will lose some options and the looks that I truly love.

Congrats on your purchase! I, too, have been driving all other suv's and nothing is coming close. Love the turbo, but the S will suit me just fine. Now, where are those pics?

Had the chance to track one thanks to a local P dealer, once a month has track day at our local track, if they aren't showing any particular car/suv than you bring your own and drive. They had the new Cayenne S, I was very impressed with how level the turns were, no body roll going pretty fast in the turns, we had a great insturctor who let us follow in our own C S. Very nice, big improvement from my CTT 04'. Congrads!

Red not an option. I have been on the phone all day with the dealer trying to find the car I want. My brain is like the factory brochure right now. What a mess, can't find one with options I want and they all come with a bunch unwanted things.

I know it had PASM & PDCC don't know if had PTV, honestly I didn't have to much time to even look at the interior, soon as I got in and belt on instructor said lets go! I did try both sport mode vs. tip shifting, sport mode was better for overall track, didn't have the paddles. Fun, you should see if your local dealer puts anything on like it, really see what the car can do!
