Nice build! I would get the 18 way sports seat.

What do you guys think of the carbon fiber steering wheel option?

w00t - for performance enhancement, is the 21" wheel going to make that much difference over 19" or 20" wheels? I always thought that the wheels larger than 20" is just for looks.

My guess is that 19" With summer tires, PASM, PDCC and PTV will provide the best handling Cayenne at a set budget (vs. spending $ on 21" and skip PTV or PDCC).

I don't think there is a big performance enhancement between the 21 inch and 20 inch at all. Due to the increased rotational mass, bigger diameter wheels add to performance but in my opinion, 20 inch is the sweet spot between performance and comfort (ride harshness). Most people (as you mentioned correctly) go with the 21 inch wheels for the looks. I went with 20 for one more reason: Way more tire choices than 19 inches. Cost of tires for 21 inch is quite high compared to 20 inch. I have to thank you though for helping me with the choice of wheel. I did go with the RS spyder after your suggestion and it looks stunning in person.

I am thinking the same as well.. But, as i mentioned before.. from what I have seen in the pictures, I don't think it looks half as good as the 21 turbo wheels. Does anyone have a good picture of a Jet Black metallic with the Spyder wheels? ( i want to be convinced ) Would love to hear from someone who has driven with both sets of wheels. Really want to know if there is a noticeable difference in ride quality between the two? Where I am at now, I have no opportunity of testing them out.

Here is a picture of a black CTT with the RS wheels. I was sold after I saw this picture. The 21 inch Cayenne turbo II is forged alloys hence much costlier but it sure looks awesome.

the 21 turbo vs the 20 spyder wheels was the decision that kept me awake for weeks prior to ordering. I ending up with the spyder wheels after seeing them live at a local dealer. All things being equal if they made the turbo in the 20's that is the way I would have went, however after seeing the Spyder's live on a Jet Black car I was sold. Good luck

Hey w00tPORSCHE- Did you get the color or black and white center caps with your RS Spyder wheels? Is the silver background an exact match? I ask because those wheels are a new color, more like titanium than silver.

And can I ask what was your reason for wanting to go for the 20's instead of the 21's? Ride comfort?

it was ride comfort and a choice of an all season tire. I live in the NY area and as much as my heart thinks I will be racing around my mind tells me it will be more of an everyday car. Those factors led me to the 20's
