Not really...actually just had it waxed this morning, and it really looks great in the sun. It is a black metallic with just a hint of blue, but nowhere as blue as BMW's Carbon Black...if you have seen that.
As for the LCA, I will be ok .

Looks great! I would say for the 18way seat. If you have a waist size bigger than a 34, it might be too tight. I wear a size 32 and it is a snug fit at the widest setting.

I agree with what you said about the GTS. It feels 'heavy and lethargic'. Not that it won't move when you want it to but the initial inertia ...
The leap forward in styling, interior, power to weight ratio and overall dynamics made me willing to upgrade now.

The seats ... sat in both, easier to get in and out of the 14s but the 18s look and feel so much better. Drove the demo for whole weekend with 18s and loved them

BTW, any real noticeable blue hue to your JBM. How R U liking the color. I too love your wheels.
I saw a JBM at the dealership and in extreme direct light there is a very slight hue of blue/purple. The JBM is a winner but up her in Canada with the salt and winter I went white!.

Thank you for that update Uhn2000. There are quite a few sand white Cayennes on 6speed. You won't be disappointed with your choice. It looks very good and is easy to maintain.

I miss my 2006 cayman S in lapis blue, what an interesting color. It was 4 years ago Thanksgiving weekend that I purchased it, slightly used (in service about 7 months before traded in). My first Porsche.

Yes black is the best looking car IMO just after a wash. It also is the worst looking one hour after a wash ... . I always handwash my cars every weekend with double bucket method using microfiber wash mitts of the highest quality and use the australian lambswool duster for a gentle wipedown most nights when there is just surface dust (no grime). Hence my black cars have very few swirls.

FJS, I love washing/detailing cars. It is one of my passion. Earlier this year I clayed, polished and waxed a black MINI. You can see the wet mirror like shine. Too bad you are in CT otherwise I could play (ie wash/detail) with your cars and not take any money from you.
