just checking in to see if anyone can post recent discount figures. Best I got so far is $3K off of a S no matter what the total MSRP is (my MSRP is $96,200) + $55 doc fee. If I can get any where near 6.5% I would drop a deposit down. Please PM dealer/salesperson info. if you have gotten a good deal recently.

Are there even any available allocations right now? I heard the factory shuts down for the month of August.

The dealer for me in Kansas City came right out and said 2012 5% off MSRP, so I jumped on it.

I think additional charges are such as doc fee $50-70, dest charge $950~, and taxes, if you need dealer to ship the car to you often times they will share shipping cost with you.

Yes factory does shut down in august. allocation wise I'd say decent in the US as i waited 3 month from the day of order until build date.
I was in Taiwan last week and spoke to the rep, from v6 to CTT the wait is minimum 12 months with some customers even wait as long as 18 months.

not to mention the only price they will sell is MSRP (which is easily twice the price here). we have the luxury to own a porsche at fraction of the cost and still pay 6-8% off msrp =)

found a dealer in the midwest offering $5K off of MSRP and one in CA willing to go $4000 of MSRP. The $5K would be doable if shipping wasn't so much... If anyone finds anything within 700 miles of CA willing to do $5K off please send me a PM.

I just got 5% off of my ordered 2012 Cayenne Turbo. But then again it is the 5th car I bought from the dealer in 10 years.

that sounds about right. i called my old dealer in LA and they were only offering 3-5% off msrp, similar scenario in the east coast. i was lucky to find a 8% off in midwest.

are you guys excited to see the new 991?
