Called up suncoastparts this morning interested in buying the Turbo front bumper. The kit includes the LED's. I asked the guy if the Turbo LED's would act as my DRL since the Turbo uses the 4 LED dots in the headlight for its DRL. He basically told me that I would no longer have DRL unless I could figure out a way to make the ring that goes around the Turbo's turn signals work as DRL....

Hopefully I did not confuse anyone.. Does anyone know if this is true? Could I make the turbos ring lights around the turn signals come on?

I would think you'll need to change to Turbo highlight to get the DRL.

 

I had the same question concerning the DRLs and the answer I got led me to believe that you would need the turbo headlights to retain DRL function.

 

i have had my service department check into how to leave the rectangular lights ON all the time with the DRL's but NO luck.
if anyone knows how to do this let me know as well.

THey sent a email to Porsche directly and they said there is no way to do that....
maybe something aftermarket will allow this?....
