Anyone receive news on the back up camera delay? I have my 2012 CTT and Im still waiting. Took delivery in early August.

 

Still waiting myself, car was purchased in September.

 

Looks like the harness may be available for November fitment.

My car is being built October 21st, so hopefully it is at the factory and ready to be installed at the time.

I have not heard of this delay with the backup camera. I just bought a 2012 CS a couple days ago from ParkPlace Dallas where I bought my 911 last year. It comes with a back up camera. It'll be here in 1.5 weeks. I better send my sales guy an email to make sure the back up camera works.

I picked up my 2012 CTT on September 20th and it has the backup camera.

 

Just heard from my sales consultant, Ryan from Park Place Dallas and he says that mine comes with a working back up camera. Yay!

I picked up my 2012 CTT in early September and, likewise, am still waiting for the rear view camera. In speaking with the service manager this afternoon, all that was promised was "by the end of November".

 

Sorry to all the guys/gals that just ordered or are receiving their Cayenne soon.
I didn't mean to cause any panic. This was for cars that have already been delivered and you would know if you didn't get it. Everyone else should be good. There was a specific period where the tsunami affected the factory that makes the wiring harness and that put some of us into a waiting period for it. Lucky for the new owners that they put them in those cars and did not backorder them too. I guess that makes sense. Im just wondering when ours are coming. I heard Nov. too, not a big deal, but I do really want it.
Anyone else hear if there is a money incentive for waiting?

When did they say your car will be delivered?

 

I also have a Oct 21st build date and am curious if/when you get a delivery date.

 

AGAIN>>>>>I DO NOT THINK that cars coming now will be affected.
It was delivery from 3 months ago. They are putting the cameras in the new cars before giving them to the older customers. It is a good thing for those getting cars delivered now.
