I had the same problem. Solved it by putting my key in one pocket, and my smart phone in the opposite pocket. I can re-create the problem situation by putting both key and smart phone in the same pocket.
Thanks for the update! I think the mobile and remote interference issue isn't exclusive to Porsche. My other car did the same occasionally.

emag thanks for the feedback and additional info. I agree it can be an issue across a continuum of vehicle brands. I imagine that different smart phones affect different brands. For instance, my iPhone and Mercedes remote key can be in same pocket, yet with Porsche CTT, the remote key and iPhone can not be in same pocket. But, my son's Porsche key and his Windows 8 phone can be in the same pocket, and not have any adverse effect. Yet, it does seem to affect the Mercedes. My other son has no problem: his keys are maintained on the official Porsche lanyard around his neck.

Any way to tell which key is which? Mine are the ones that don't require the key but there are no markings on which key is which.

I discovered, as the poster above did, that if I stop turning the key at the first detent, the seat moves in, but if I start the engine, the seat doesn't move. I just turned it off. Don't really need it.
