Tire issue!!

So I'm filling up my Cayenne and I look down and notice the front passenger tire has a huge bulge on the sidewall.

Car was purchased in September and now has just over 5000 miles, tires are Pirelli Zero 295/35/21.

Never had this issue before, what's the best thing to do? Anyone else had/have this issue?

Yeah that goes without saying, and I won't be driving the car till, I'm replacing it, my question more though, is this a warranty issue?

I haven't hit anything, so will tire warranty cover it?

Probably not unless you bought some sort of supplemental tire coverage, one of the big hazards of low profile tires is getting a sidewall bulge from running into a pothole, etc. don't wait to get a new tire though, if you get a blowout you might destroy the rim which is a lot more $$

Buy some new tires from Costco and you get the road hazzard warranty. I'd want the Michelin Latitude Sports anyways.

Costco didn't have them, as a matter of fact they didn't have anything in 21 inch size.

Can I ask why why you prefer the Michelin tires more?

Anyways ordered my tire from tire rack, will be here Wednesday.

Did you look online at Costo or did you go to the store? Online, Costco doesn't have many sizes. I had to order a set of Pilot Super Sports which they don't have online for my BMW by going into the Costco store directly and having them look it up. Not sure if they would have the 21's as I've never checked that.

I've always loved Michelin's because of past experience. Like most of us here, I've tried them all: Dunlops, Bridgestones, Goodyears, Continental, etc.

I find Michelin (although one of the most expensive), to blend the best handling, wear and overall comfort. As an example, I find Bridgestones too heavy (just the feel), and Dunlops noisy. So for probably the last 10 years, I've only used Michelin's unlesss, of course, I buy a new car and it happens to come with something else, then I wait till it wears, then buy Michelin's.

Right now, with my other vehicles at home, I have

Michelin's Pilot Sport 2's, the new Super Sports, Pilot Sport A/S's, and Cross Terrains.

Except, I haven't tried General (cheap), and Pirelli's (although I have heard they wear fast)

What did you end up getting?
